“Brotherhood is the fundamental idea behind every
religion” Prof. M K Sanu
On the occasion of Sri Narayana Guru Jaynthi
Chavara Cultural Centre organized an inter religious meeting.
Prof. M K Sanu inaugurated it. who on the occasion said
that Brotherhood is the fundamental idea behind every religion,
but in todays world this idea has been relegated to the
background instead ,rituals are getting the upper hand.
On the occasion Hindu, Muslim and Christian leaders lit
Red,White and Green candles to emphasize the idea of Love
and Peace. Students from St.Marys HSS recited religious
prayers and holy scriptures of different religions were
read. Swami Purandaranda,Immam Salahuddin Madani and Rev.Fr.
Kuriakose Mundadan gave talks on religious values. Fr.Roby
Kannanchira CMI, Fr.Jos ChittillapillyCMI,and Dr.TS Joy
gave their opinions on the subject.
